Honeymoon Diaries

As some of you may have already seen on social media, Widlin and I tied the knot on October 7th! We went away for two weeks on our Europe honeymoon, and we squeezed in some photo ops of what I wore and what we did. I have decided to create honeymoon diaries, from where we stayed and what I wore so tons of inspiration coming your way. My husband planned the ENTIRE trip; I only received a binder the week of our wedding, which included our stay and airline information. We “literally” jumped four countries city to city every 2-3 days from Paris, France to Venice, Italy, to Rome, Italy, to Athens, Greece, to Santorini, Greece and lastly Barcelona, Spain.

Aaaaand two months later, I am finally sharing the ins and outs of our honeymoon. Not going to lie, browsing through these images brought back all the “feels” and I called Widlin over more than once to look at photos and reminisce with me. I still stand by that it was my favorite vacation ever, for one this is difficult because I am travel junkie and every trip is always unique in its way. Santorini was such a relaxing and romantic place especially when your Airbnb host upgrades your stay to the 3-bedroom villa with private Jacuzzi. Athens was rich with incredible history that I was in awe for three days straight and given that, Widlin and I were able to take out two full weeks from work and disconnect and just be present and explore each other for 14 days straight. We make a great team, and he is the best travel partner ever! From the scenery to beachside massage, to the Greek food (omg to die for!), to spending days on end with my bae, it was pure magic and a trip I will forever fondly remember.

As you may plan your getaways, I have had a ton of emails from you asking to share where we stayed, what activities we did, and any tips and insight regarding this trip, so here we go! Sharing a photo diary first then will spill the details at the end the pros and cons. In all the wedding planning, make sure your honeymoon is included in the planned as well and splurge. The wedding is a one-day event but actually spend money on your memories as a couple that you will cherish forever as well. Hope y’all enjoy!
